Journey to Dubai.

Hey Friends,

The three biggest missions conferences we work took place within 3 weeks this year–URBANA, CROSS, and G3. It was spectacular, providing fuel to the fire to see Jesus worshipped to the ends of earth, but it was also physically and mentally exhausting. I was encouraged by the amount of students we talked to about missions and unreached people groups. At all of these conferences about 22,000 people were in attendance! Praise God!

Pictured below took place at CROSS CON– 8,000 people praying for Yemen.

During these conferences I was able to spend quality time with missionaries to the remote villages in Peru, nomads in the African Sahara, Northern Chinese Muslims, the Japanese, the oppressed people in North Korea, and the hot desert city of Dubai. Many of these missionaries have been on the field for 15 plus years! It was such a wonderful, gracious gift from our heavenly Father to provide encouragement by these beautiful feet. My roommate during one of the conferences was working amongst

for 10 years before the recent government crackdown. He and his wife have been praying if they should just keep their family stateside after what happened, but after the conference he said, "Man...there is no way we can stay here; we must go back. Missions isn't very glorious, but Jesus is." Praise our faithful Father for He provides steadfastness!

Join me in imploring

our heavenly Father who is abundant in mercy, wishing for none to perish but for all to come to repentance. Ask Him to raise up laborers to go out into the harvest (Luke 10:2) and that they will endeavor to make every effort to equip themselves for every good work (1 Tim. 3:16,17) and grow in godliness, increase in measure, be kept from being

Ministry in Clarkston

I shared with you last time about my friend Sam who is a muslim from Pakistan. Our friendship has been growing and I have been able to bring him around other believers in hopes he will experience the love the body of Christ. My friend Rob and I took him out to lunch and had open gospel centered dialogue for the first time! The spiritual warfare during that time and afterwards was blatant and hard, but the evil one did not prevail. Sam agreed to read the Bible with us. It was glorious! Praise the Lord for this!

Lastly, I desire your prayers personally. The past 3 weeks I have been experiencing some hardship and warfare that has brought about countless restless nights. It seems in different ways I am beginning to experience the cost of going, especially with the quickly approaching reality of saying goodbye to loved ones here. If the Lord would release me from this hardship, it is for my good. If He doesn't, it is for my good.
