Another Delay

On the way in to the hospital yesterday (Tuesday) the nurse informed me that Kaleb had spiked a fever and his heart rate had gone back up. He’s continued this trend today. They ran all the viral panels and bloodwork and everything came back negative, but they're going to keep him for a few more days to observe him and make sure it doesn't develop into anything more serious.

Obviously, this is disheartening, especially since it's still very unclear what the cause of his fever is. Todd has been faithful to remind me of truth—God has purposes even in this and He's watching over Kaleb. We continue to wait to have our boy home with us!

Please pray

• That Kaleb's fever resolves or the source of his fever becomes apparent so the doctors are able to treat it.

• That we would continue to persevere in faith and hope in our good God.
