Kaleb is home and doing great!

After a full morning of getting things in order and nervously waiting for bloodwork to come back, kaleb was finally discharged yesterday afternoon! A couple months ago I wrote about how unfathomable it was to think of the possibility of him having no tape on his face soon. Not only has that dream come true, but his care has become a lot less intense as well. We went from 11 med doses to 5 (four in the morning and one at night). He has nebulizer treatment three times a day. He wears the CPAP at night and oxygen during long naps in the day.
He is also older and much more aware of us and desirous to play and interested in making his opinion know, which I find amazing. We all feel so relieved and happy.

I am hoping that we won't have another inpatient visit to the hospital for a very long time, but his doctor appointments are many!
A follow-up with his primary care physician.
Regular follow ups with cardiology to check on how his heart is doing
Regular check ups with G.I. to make sure his GJ tub is working properly.
We will start seeing Early Intervention again to try to promote his development (working on sitting up and holding things with both hands right now)
He's going to have an appointment with an allergist to try to investigate this theme of drug induced fevers and see if there's any correlation between them so we can try to avoid it in the future

Please pray:
For STRENGTH and joy. These initial days are long as we try to get things organized and work out the kinks and give attention to all our kids and each other on limited sleep.
For SLEEP.
For protection from viruses and sickness
For wisdom as we figure out how to continue to be involved in our church after adding our baby back into the mix.
