Steady On Through The Night

It was a bit slower of a start than we expected but all is well with Brittany and baby Kaleb, we are moving right along.

1:45pm

When we arrived we started off in triage and stayed in triage for what felt like days, but we made the most of the time together with some conversation, tasty food, reading of scripture, and an episode of Rings of Power.

10:30pm

We were moved to a labor and delivery room.

12:30am

Contractions were becoming more intense, so to slow things down the doctors made a few adjustments with the induction. They really don’t want Kaleb to come until morning hours because all of the different doctors and nurses needed in the room during his birth. After the adjustments contractions lessened and we were able to get some rest, praise the LORD!

6:30am

The doctors have started pitocin, we are expecting Kaleb to come in the next few hours.
