The Daily Kaleb
Update 4

Praises!
We were able to take some time and visit Kaleb again today with Zion. It was a sweet time as Kaleb began to squirm and attempt to open his eyes while we were in the room. Kaleb is continuing to have small victories!
He is now squirming around a bit, after coming off the muscle relaxer, but he is still on a small sedation.
His blood pressure is continuing to stabilize
Even though he was urinating, they gave him a diearitic to help his body release more of the fluid build up. Which will continue to improve the functioning of his lungs and heart.
They began feeding him small amounts of breast milk!
The doctors are going to give Brittany time to hold Kaleb tomorrow! This will be the first time either of us have held him.
For wonderful doctors and nurses who have served Kaleb and our family so well.
Things to pray for:
All of Kaleb’s doctors will convene tomorrow to discuss his case, putting together future plans for further treatment and surgery.
That his body receives the breastmilk well.
That his heart will continue to stabilize on its own as they continue to wean him off the intubation, nitric oxide, medications, and sedation.
Particularly that his right ventricle would decrease in pressure buildup and his left ventricular would increase in strength.
Pray for our continued witness of the glory of Jesus. While the hospital holds a lot of common grace it’s a lost place spiritually, with no glimmer of any acknowledgement to the existence of God.
We are so very grateful for your prayers and loving care!
