The Daily Kaleb

Monday's Surgery delayed

His wrinkly forehead
The hole in his hear
His fingers and toes and
All his missing parts
The poem that's written
In sequence and code—
All these things were made by
The Savior we know.

He's good and He's faithful
Redeemer and Friend
He reigns above sickness
He sees start and end
And so, I'll surrender
This gift of a son
Given so perfectly
Wrapped up in love

Safe in the hands of
The Wonderful Healer
All things sustained by
Our Shepherd and Keeper

Brittany Hope Born

Hi all!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and time meeting with the Lord with your local churches.

We have received so many sweet encouraging texts, emails, and phone calls filled with love, truth’s from God’s Word, and prayers. We are very grateful!

Kaleb’s surgery was scheduled for first thing this morning so after dropping our friends off at the airport, Todd went over to the hospital first thing so that he could see Kaleb off to the OR. When Todd arrived at the hospital they told him Kaleb’s surgery had been pushed back to 12pm. 12 came and went and at 4pm we received a call with many apologies from the surgeon’s PA because there had been a higher priority case that went before Kaleb that took much longer than anticipated.

Kaleb’s surgery is now scheduled for tomorrow morning (Tuesday Oct. 22nd). As soon as we receive the call that it’s go time we will send out an email letting you all know it’s actually happening.

God filled our day with so much grace today. We had a beautiful warm autumn day with the colors peaking here in Boston. Instead of sitting in the hospital waiting through surgery we had planned to take a family adventure. So, we spent the day with Zion and River at a local orchard, enjoying God’s good gifts in creation for the eyes, the heart, the soul, and of course the taste buds. The Lord provided a rich time together which even included running into another like minded local pastor and his family at the Orchard.

All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
