The Daily Kaleb

Shortly after sending the last email update we got a phone call from the Cardiologist on the floor today.

Kaleb will need to get a heart catheter procedure within the next couple of hours. 

On paper (the monitor screen) or as they say clinically, Kaleb’s heart is showing progress.

However after an ultra-sound of the heart today:

• the valves that were repaired are showing the back-flow is becoming worse.

• the left side of his heart is not functioning well.

He will go into the heart cath lab in the next hour or so to check more accurately what is going on inside his heart.

Possibilities they gave us

Perhaps everything is normal and he can continue on with recovery…
Perhaps there is a blockage (like a blood cot)…
Perhaps they will need to take him back into surgery to take further action.

We are so grateful for your investment and outpouring of loving prayer for our son Kaleb.
