Kaleb is doing GREAT, as are we. We've been taking him to a variety of departments to address secondary issues. And I (Brittany) am making music again!
We're back in Boston after struggling through various sicknesses—and one of us is going to Italy!
After a day of uncertainty, Inova gave us the green light to bring Kaleb home and continue our journey!
Kaleb is doing MUCH better and we're hoping for a Thursday discharge.

Kaleb is home and doing great!
Kaleb's mystery fever has finally gone away! The tentative plan is to discharge tomorrow (Wednesday).
Kaleb spiked a mysterious fever yesterday, so discharge is delayed.
Kaleb is over his infection, weaned off all sedation, and now we wait for discharge mid-week!
Kaleb is 99% off of oxygen support, but battling an infection. We're hoping for a discharge this weekend.
Kaleb is almost through weaning off his sedation medications and he will be moving to "the floor" (the step-down unit/ACCU) today.
